Privacy Policy

Effective October 10, 2026

HD Office works entirely on your phone. The app has no internet permission, no account, no ads and no tracking, and we do not collect, store or share any information about you or your documents.

Who we are

HD Office (the "app") is developed by Hai Digital. For any privacy question, contact us at Office@haidigital.co.il.

Documents you open

When you open a document from the device's file picker, through "Open with", or from the share menu, the operating system gives the app access to that single file. The app reads it on the device to display it, and the file is never sent anywhere. The app has no access to the other files on your device.

Recent files list

So you can reopen a document with one tap, the app keeps, in its private storage on the device, the file name, its size, the time it was opened and a copy of the file, for up to the 20 most recent documents. Files larger than 80 MB are not kept in the list.

• This information stays on your device only. It is never sent to us or to anyone else
• It is excluded from the device's cloud backup and from device-to-device transfer
• You can remove any document from the list by tapping the X next to it
• Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data in the device settings, deletes all of it

Permissions

The app requests no permissions: no internet access, no broad storage access, no camera, no location and no contacts. Documents are accessed only one file at a time, through the operating system's file access mechanism.

Information we do not collect

We do not collect personal information, device identifiers, location, usage data, crash reports or document contents. The app contains no ads, no analytics and no third-party services that collect data.

Links inside documents

If a document contains a link and you choose to tap it, the link opens in your device's browser, and from that point the privacy policies of the browser and of the website apply.

Children

The app is not directed at children and does not collect information from any user, including children.

Security

Because documents never leave the device, their protection relies on the device's own security, such as screen lock and encryption. We recommend keeping them enabled.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
